Are chicken eggs from other countries healthier?

Traveling outside the USA, I noticed eggs elsewhere taste much better.  I think a lot of the chicken there just squawk around and eat whatever is about versus our caged chickens.  These eggs tasted better than the cage free eggs here.

probably also depends on what they are fed - here in the us i think we feed chickens a lot of corn and soy - maybe the diet for poultry is much broader in europe or asia
