Has anyone tried a Gluten-Free, Casein-Free Diet to treat an autoimmune disease?

I am interested to hear.   I think avoiding both things must be very difficult, but worth it if you are reversing MS (like roger mcdougall or terry wahl) or ulcerative colitis orpsoriasis.

This seems to evoke the specific carbohydrate diet which is used for autism treatment and other hard to understand and treat disorders.  I don't know much about it.
